We are blessed to be able to celebrate the Divine Liturgy in Swindon on the 23rd May!
This is a great blessing to be able to Pray and Worship together, but requires each of us to act responsibly.
You can now book your attendance at the service through our Eventbrite page. Please select the date, and register your name and any other attendees from your household.
Please strictly observe the rules put in place by the British Government and observed throughout the Diocese of Sourozh to make places of worship as Covid-19 secure as possible.
Please do not come to the church if you have or had COVID symptoms in the last two weeks.
Protective face masks must be worn.
During the divine service one must stand with their household observing the mandatory safe distance of 2 metres from others.
Hands should be cleaned before and after the service.
Refrain completely from socialising with others when arriving at or leaving the church. Tea will not be served afterwards.
Please inform the Church Warden if you wish to attend the service, so numbers can be controlled.
Parents are responsible for the behaviour of their children in the church, and throughout the service.
It is allowed to light candles on the candlesticks in front of the icons, but it is strictly forbidden to kiss the icons or touch them with your hands. You should approach the candlesticks one at a time, continuing to keep a distance of 2 m from others.
Arrangements for confession will be communicated shortly.
Please arrive promptly for the service.
Thank you for your understanding and patience. We hope that these restrictions will soon cease to be necessary and we will be able to return to the usual course of our church life.
The service will be held on Sunday 23rd May, beginning at the usual time of 10:00am at St Aldhelm's Chapel.
Please join us to worship the risen Christ!
